This 8" x 10" painting of a grouping of Eden Roses makes me feel like I have just discovered a secret garden and found these blooming beauties quietly watching me.  I was focusing on my brushwork and edges here to really make them feel as they had emerged from the surrounding greenery.  Warm golden light dances across deep greens, creating a magical atmosphere where the roses seem suspended between reality and imagination.
